The U.S. Neighborhood Post Office (U.S.N.P.O.), located at the Price Center room 242, provides mailing services to the campus community. Checks are accepted with proper identification (credit/debit/TritonPlus cards are not accepted). Stamps can also be purchased using your department index number. This Mail Services operation provides full mailing services within the United States, but service to foreign countries is limited to letters (up to 1 lb).

USNPO provides money orders with the following transaction fees:

$0.90 for money orders $500.00 and below
$1.25 for money orders $500.01 and above

Three hundred and sixteen post office boxes are available for rent and may be rented by anyone with proper picture identification and a San Diego address.

The service windows are open from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, Summer hours are from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.. There are stamp machines in the lobby, and a drop box has been provided for anyone wishing to mail late in the evening. The USNPO also provides small and medium priority boxes at no charge.
